My love of art began when I was but a young lad. I would draw Ninja Turtles, lots and lots of Ninja Turtles. I never had any intention of getting into painting until a high school teacher challenged me. I did a few pieces with acrylic, but I found that insane drive for perfection drove me to work on sections for hours on end. Oil paints gave me the freedom to do that. After years of experimenting and trying to find what defines me, I discovered that my art is about breaking the boundaries of the canvas, but yet not eliminating it.
